Airbus partners with Civil Aviation Flight University of China

Airbus and Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together to create China's first ab-initio flight training standard. The Civil Aviation Administration of China's (CAAC).  increased flight training requirements prompted this action. Airbus EVP and Airbus China CEO George Xu stated “Airbus is pleased to be partnering with the Civil Aviation Flight University of China and to be further strengthening the working relationship it has with the many Chinese stakeholders within the civil aviation industry in China.” 

China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) delivers Airbus A320neo to Air Cairo

China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) places first aircraft in African market. CALC announced the delivery of a new A320neo to Air Cairo. This is the first transaction between Air Cairo and CALC.

Collaboration on A321P2F Conversions Between EFW and Haite

A letter of intent (LOI) was signed t by Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) and Sichuan Haite Hi-Tech (Haite) to collaborate on Airbus Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversions. At Haite's factory in Tianjin, China, P2F conversions for EFW's A321P2F program will be completed. Haite will launch with one conversion line and take delivery of the first A321 aircraft for conversion in Q3 of this year as the first third-party conversion house for EFW's A321P2F program.

SF Airlines and ST Engineering announce Aircraft MRO Joint-Venture

An agreement to establish a commercial airframe Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) joint venture in Ezhou, Hubei, China was announced by ST Engineering's Commercial Aerospace company and SF Airlines Co., Ltd. (SF Airlines). By a strategic partnership with an established freighter airline, ST Engineering will be able to seize new and developing opportunities in a fast-growing area. The joint venture will have ST Engineering as a 60% shareholder and SF Airlines as the 40% remaining shareholder. the facility will start operating in 2025.
