Airbus delivers 142 commercial aircraft to China in 2021
Airbus delivered a total of 142 commercial aircraft to the Chinese market in 2021, marking a year-on-year increase of more than 40% Airbus China announced in an statement. By the end of last year, around 2,100 Airbus commercial aircraft were serving in the Chinese civil aviation market according to Airbus China data.
China’s Civil Aviation Authority Releases Certification Guidance On EHang EH216
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has formally adopted Special Conditions for Type Certification for the company’s EH216-S AAV. The two-seat EH216-S is powered by eight electric motors driving vertical rotors. It is designed for the tourism and autonomous air taxi market.

China's airlines have marked the longest continuous safe flight record in world civil aviation history of over 100 million continuous hours (137 months) as of February 19, announced the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
China's air travel rises 12.5 percent during Spring Festival
China reported a total of 39.82 million air passenger trips during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush that ended Friday, data from the civil aviation authority (CAAC) revealed. The figure went up 12.5% and 3.8% from the same period in 2021 and 2020, respectively, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
