AerCap Delivers First of Six New Airbus A330neo Aircraft to Condor

AerCap announced the delivery of the first of six new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft to German leisure carrier, Condor. The remaining aircraft are scheduled to deliver in summer 2023 through 2024. AerCap Chief Commercial Officer Peter Anderson, said “We are delighted to announce the delivery of the first of six new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft to Condor, and to see the aircraft painted in their distinctive new striped livery design.”

 

Arena Aviation Capital completed the sale of a 9 aircraft portfolio

Arena Aviation Capital (Ireland) completed the sale of a 9 aircraft portfolio that was acquired for and managed on behalf of US private equity fund Kennedy Lewis Investment LLC in 2021. The portfolio, a mix of young narrow body aircraft on lease to airlines including Frontier, Spirit, Indigo, American and Air France, was sold to two separate buyers. Arena Aviation Capital (Ireland) MD Peter Blakeney said “The transaction was put together under challenging market conditions but nevertheless yielded very satisfactory results to investors over a relatively short hold period. He thanked partners PK Airfinance, KPMG, Millbank, Arthur Cox, Maples, among others, for their support in concluding it.”
 

Azorra Completes 5 Sale & Leasebacks Of New E2 Aircraft With Porter Airlines

Azorra announced that it has closed the sale and leaseback of five new E195-E2 aircraft with Porter Airlines. These 5 aircraft are Porter’s first E2 deliveries and part of a 50 aircraft firm orderbook between the airline and Embraer. Earlier in December, Embraer successfully received type certification from the Transport Canada Civil Aviation Authority for the E2.

 

Nordic Aviation Capital delivers one ATR72-500 to Canary Fly S.L.

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced the delivery of on operating lease one ATR72-500 to Canary Fly. Canary Fly is a Spanish airline that operates regular flights between the Canary Islands.

 

Titan Aircraft Investments and Georgian Airlines Announce Long-Term Agreement for a Boeing 737 Aircraft

Titan Aircraft Investments announced the placement of one Boeing 737-800SF converted freighter on long-term dry lease with Georgian Airlines to support its network. President and Chief Executive Officer of Titan Aviation Holdings and Chief Commercial Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide, Michael Steen said “We are delighted to welcome Georgian Airlines and appreciate their trust in Titan as we support their growing business.”
