Aviation Capital Group Delivers Boeing 737-9 MAX to United Airlines
Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has successfully delivered a Boeing 737-9 MAX to United Airlines. The aircraft, powered by a CFM International LEAP-1B engine, marks the fourth installment in an ongoing multiple-aircraft sale-leaseback agreement between ACG and United. The deal further strengthens United’s modernized fleet strategy as it continues to integrate fuel-efficient and high-capacity aircraft to enhance operational performance.
BNDES Approves R$ 2.1 Billion for Embraer to Export 16 Aircraft to the U.S.
The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has sanctioned financing worth R$ 2.1 billion to support Embraer’s export of 16 E-175 aircraft to Republic Airways, a U.S.-based regional carrier. The transaction, which falls under the BNDES Exim Post-Boarding financing model, will see the aircraft delivered throughout 2025. Republic Airways, which exclusively operates Embraer aircraft, will assume the financial commitment in U.S. dollars, contributing valuable foreign exchange to Brazil. This move highlights the growing demand for efficient regional jets in North America.
Broward Aviation Services Acquires Boeing 737 NG from AerCap for Disassembly
Broward Aviation Services (BAS) has acquired a Boeing 737 NG (MSN 32798) airframe from AerCap, previously operated by South Korea’s t’way Air. The disassembly will be conducted at AerCap Materials' facility in Greenwood-Leflore County Airport, Mississippi, with completion expected by mid-February. Around 800 valuable components will be extracted, repaired, and stored at BAS’s facilities in the U.S. and its new hub in Shannon, Ireland, ensuring global support for MRO and AOG customers. This transaction further strengthens BAS’s position in the aircraft teardown and parts supply sector.
JetBlue Introduces ‘EvenMore’ Premium Travel Experience
