BOC Aviation Announces CFO Change

BOC Aviation has announced that Ms. Wen Lan has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 March 2025. In this role, she will oversee Accounting and Reporting, Board Secretariat, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Control, Tax, Treasury, and Settlement departments based in Singapore. Ms. Wen replaces Mr. Wu Jianguang, who retired on 28 February. CEO and Managing Director Steven Townend welcomed Ms. Wen, citing her extensive financial experience and international leadership roles at the Bank of China as assets to the company’s strong management team. He also expressed appreciation for Mr. Wu’s contributions to the company’s success.

 

CDB Aviation Delivers 2nd A320neo to Colorful Guizhou Airlines

CDB Aviation has successfully delivered an Airbus A320-251N to Colorful Guizhou Airlines. This aircraft features the airline’s newly designed "Head of Version" cabin, which aims to enhance passenger comfort and onboard experience. CDB Aviation CEO Jie Chen highlighted the company’s commitment to strengthening long-term partnerships with airlines across key aviation markets. The A320neo will support the carrier’s fleet expansion strategy and contribute to providing more efficient air travel services to meet growing passenger demand.

 

China Southern Airlines Connects Urumqi to Kuala Lumpur

China Southern Airlines has launched a new route connecting Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, to Kuala Lumpur via Guangzhou. The airline is operating this service three times a week using a 152-seat Boeing 737-800 in a two-class configuration. Plans are in place to expand the service to daily flights starting in April 2025.
