BOC Aviation Expands Paul Kent's Role as Chief Commercial Officer

Effective January 13, 2025, BOC Aviation has elevated Paul Kent's role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), extending his oversight from Europe, Americas, and Africa to now include Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Cathay Pacific Resumes Rome Route in 2025

Cathay Pacific will enhance its European network by reintroducing a three-times-weekly service between its Hong Kong hub and Rome starting June 5, 2025. Operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, this seasonal route marks Cathay Pacific’s return to a market it first entered in 1986. Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer expressed enthusiasm about welcoming passengers back on this route, particularly as they prepare for the 2025 Jubilee celebrations in Rome.

On January 9, 2025, the National Civil Aviation Work Conference convened in Beijing to review the industry's achievements in 2024 and set targets for 2025.
