Air India launches ‘Project Abhinandan’
Air India has launched ‘Project Abhinandan’ to provide a personalized passenger experience at 16 major Indian airports touch points on its route network, as part of its transformation roadmap titled ‘Vihaan.AI’ with an ambition to become a world class airline with an Indian heart. Air India Chief Customer Experience & Ground Handling Officer Rajesh Dogra, said “Project Abhinandan’ is our sincere effort to simplify the airport experience for our guests and make a meaningful difference to their overall travel experience, and more broadly, to make them feel at ease and welcomed when they fly with us.” “Flying is a wonderful experience, and we want our guests to enjoy it in the most seamless ways possible. We are constantly evaluating new ways to enhance that experience in our effort to transform Air India into a truly world-class airline. ‘Project Abhinandan’ service is a step in that direction.”
Boeing Outlines ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ Vision
Boeing last week highlighted its substantial indigenization achievement in the manufacturing and sustainment of its P-8I maritime surveillance aircraft , suggesting an increase in investment and economic impact as part of its ‘Aatmanirbhar’ Bharat strategy. The Indian Navy currently operates Twelve P-8I supporting $1.7 billion in economic activity. Boeing India President Salil Gupte said “Boeing's commitment to advancing the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision drives our dedication to the P-8I fleet. As we respond to the Indian Navy's need for more P-8I aircraft, we're actively looking to enhance engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment capabilities in India, for India, and the world, benefiting both Indian and global customers.”
IndiGo becomes Indian Football Team global partner
IndiGo announced an exciting new partnership with the All-India Football Federation (AIFF) becoming official airline for the Indian Football Team. Vistara announces new Delhi to Hong Kong route
Vistara announced it will launch new daily flights from its Delhi Hub to Hong Kong from 29 October operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft featuring a three-class configuration. Vistara CEO Vinod Kannan said “We are delighted to add Hong Kong to our fast-growing global network. Hong Kong is one of the world’s most premier financial and commercial hubs that continues to draw significant corporate traffic from India. It has also been a very popular destination for Indian tourists. With the addition of Hong Kong, we are now able to offer our customers direct connectivity to and from three of the world’s top financial centres, the others being London and Singapore.”
