Allegiant Named Best Low-Cost Airline in North America

Allegiant has been named 2024's Best Low-Cost Airline in North America by Skytrax. Allegiant's President Gregory C. Anderson received the award during Skytrax's World Airline Awards ceremony held in London this week. Allegiant's President Gregory C. Anderson said "We are incredibly honoured and proud to receive this award as it recognizes our unwavering dedication to our customers. "Our team members are the foundation of what we do – they continue to ensure safety, reliability and impeccable service onboard. As a leisure focused airline, our unique business model bridges the gap in connecting small-to-medium sized cities to premier vacation destinations. This accolade reaffirms the important value we bring to the communities we serve and acknowledges our long history of providing great service at an attractive price for our customers."

Avmax Announces Strategic Aircraft Transactions with Astral Aviation

Avmax Group announced the successful completion of two significant transactions with Astral Aviation, a prominent cargo carrier based in Kenya. These transactions underscore Avmax’s commitment to supporting Astral Aviation’s fleet expansion and operational enhancement strategies. The first transaction involved the purchase and lease-back of a Boeing 767-200 Freighter (MSN 22217) airframe, which has operated in Astral Aviation’s fleet since 2020. The second transaction comprised the dry lease of a Boeing 737-400F (MSN 27082).

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) leases A321neo to Condor

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) announced the delivery of one Airbus A321neo to Condor Flugdienst, powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. The aircraft is the first of four aircraft scheduled to deliver to the airline. Aviation Capital Group (ACG)  Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Carter White said “It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we commemorate the delivery of Condor Flugdienst’s first Airbus A321neo. This milestone marks a significant achievement in our flourishing partnership with Condor, an airline renowned for its exceptional service and operational excellence. Werner Aero Acquires Airbus A319

Werner Aero announced acquisition of Airbus A319-100 aircraft msn 2629. The aircraft was formely operated by Air India and is currently in ASCENT facility in Marana, Arizona where it will be dismantled for spares.
