Avelo Airlines Las Angeles/Burbank Base milestone
AAR and Moog Inc sign commercial agreements
AAR announced the signature of a two multi-year commercial agreements with Moog Inc, as part of a new strategic relationship. The first agreement, AAR will distribute Moog products applicable to mature aircraft platforms to global customers. The second agreement will enable AAR and Moog to collaborate on mutual component repair services. AAR SVP Distribution Frank Landrio said “The AAR-Moog agreements demonstrate a commitment to providing additional value to customers through improved product availability and outstanding customer service. AAR looks forward to growing our relationship with Moog by successfully executing on these contracts for the benefit of our collective customers.”

Avelo Airlines announced Burbank Base milestone of carrying 1 million passengers on its thirteen routes serving Las Angeles. Boeing announces new Qantas 787 Dreamliner order
Boeing announced the Qantas Group announced selected the 787 Dreamliner family to modernize its widebody fleet with an order for four 787-9 and eight 787-10 aircraft enabling the carrier to add more flights to its existing network and launch new routes. The carrier currently operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce said “This is another multi-billion-dollar investment in the national carrier, and its great news for our customers and our people. The 787 and the GE engines fitted to them, are thoroughly proven and extremely capable.”
Delta announces new Tokyo to Honolulu route
Delta announced the launch of a new route between Tokyo International Airport and Honolulu International Airport commencing 28 October, operating daily using Boeing 767-300(ER) aircraft. Delta Managing Director and President – Japan Victor Osumi, said “As travel demand gradually recovers in Japan, we decided to add the new Honolulu service to our HND network. Our commitment to both markets remains strong. Customers will enjoy more options and destinations from Haneda, with Delta's unparalleled premium experience on the ground and in the air."
