Avolon Agrees Cebu Pacific A330NEO Sale And Leaseback

Aergo Capital sells two aircraft to Aircastle Ireland

Aergo Capital announces sale of one Boeing 737-800 (msn 37247), on lease to Air Europa and one Airbus A321-200 (msn 4661), on lease to Smartlynx, to Aircastle Ireland DAC, a subsidiary of Aircastle. Aergo Capital Chief Executive Officer Fred Browne, said “We are thrilled to announce Aergo’s sale of the B737-800 and A321-200 aircraft to Aircastle. I would like to thank all who were involved in getting this transaction across the line and we look forward to working with Aircastle again in the future.”

 

Avolon Agrees Cebu Pacific A330NEO Sale And Leaseback

Avolon announced it has agreed the sale and leaseback of four new Airbus A330neo aircraft with Cebu Pacific. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in late 2024 with the final delivery planned in 2026. The new aircraft will support Cebu’s expansion of its route network in Asia and the Middle East. Avolon Chief Commercial Officer Paul Geaney said “The Cebu team is doing a fantastic job expanding the airline’s operations and we are delighted to use our balance sheet to support the addition of four new A330neos to their fleet. With the continuing recovery of air travel in Asia we look forward to further opportunities to support customers on sale and leaseback transactions, or through our orderbook, as the availability of widebodies out to 2030 continues to tighten.”

 

CDB Aviation signs $506 million sustainability linked loan

CDB Aviation announced that the lessor executed a new Sustainability Linked Loan transaction on 26 March anchored with a $506 million unsecured term loan facility. The facility was financed by a group of MLA banks. CDB CEO Jie Chen, said “Thank you to the Capital Markets, Deal, Legal, Finance, and ESG teams for successfully executing this second sustainability-linked transaction. We’re continuing to build on our platform’s robust ability to engage global financial institutions to diversify our financing sources, while advancing our sustainability strategy and broadening relationships within the banking and capital market sectors.”
