BOC Aviation hints that 747-8Fs came from Boeing Capital
BOC Aviation has all but named Boeing Capital as the seller of the two Boeing 747-8 Freighters leased to AirBridgeCargo that it recently acquired reports Flightglobal. The lessor said in a stock exchange disclosure that the sellers of the two aircraft where "principally engaged in aircraft leasing and are subsidiaries of Boeing".
China Aircraft Leasing buys two Airbus aircraft for $217 million
China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Ltd said it would purchase two Airbus A320NEO’s for an aggregate list price of $216.8 million (174.23 million pounds), to match customer demand under dynamic market conditions. The aircraft will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
China aircraft lessor USD bonds receive strong global interest
Recent dollar bond issuances by Bank of Communications Financial Leasing and Hong Kong-listed China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings have received strong interest among global fixed income investors, as lessors continue to raise funding to grow their aircraft portfolios.
HNA Establishes Innovation Finance Group in Hong Kong
On 31 March 2017, the inaugural ceremony of HNA Innovation Finance Group was held in Hong Kong. Attending the ceremony were leading members of the Board of HNA Group, including WANG Jian, Chairman of HNA Group, TAN Xiangdong, Vice Chairman and CEO of HNA Group and Chairman of HNA Innovation Finance.
