BOC Aviation and Turkish Airlines Enter Into Purchase-and-Leaseback BOC Aviation Limited announced 27 April that it has entered into a purchase-and-leaseback transaction with Turkish Airlines for two 2016-vintage Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, both of which are expected to deliver to the Company in the second quarter of 2017. China aviation regulator says renegotiating airworthiness agreement with U.S. China and the United States are renegotiating their bilateral airworthiness agreement, China's aviation regulator. The two countries held talks this week and aim to sign the agreement by the end of the year, Wang Jingling, Deputy Director General of the aircraft airworthiness department at the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), said at a conference in Shanghai. China, Russia to Develop New Jet Domestic aircraft manufacturer Commercial Aircraft Corp of China said that it has started work to develop a wide-body commercial jet with Russia, and the passenger plane is expected to be delivered within 10 years. The 280-seat wide-body jet would have a range of 12,000 kilometers. The project signals the two countries' ambitions to compete in the wide-body market, which is currently dominated by Airbus and Boeing. China Southern Airlines orders 20 Airbus A350 XWBs China Southern Airlines has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus for 20 A350-900s, becoming the latest customer for the aircraft.  China Southern Airlines now operates one of the largest Airbus fleet in the world with more than 300 Airbus aircraft in service, comprising the A320 Family, the A330 Family and five A380s. Airbus has recorded a total of 841 firm orders for the A350 XWB from 45 customers worldwide, making it one of the most successful widebody aircraft ever.
