BOC Aviation Adds Six New Airbus Aircraft To Orderbook BOC Aviation Limited announced 26 May that it has ordered four new Airbus A320NEO family aircraft (including A320 and A321 variants) and two new Airbus A330-900 aircraft. All six Airbus aircraft have been committed for lease to Portugal’s flag carrier, TAP Portugal, and will be delivered between 2018 and 2020. BOC Aviation Fleet Crosses The 300 Mark Following Transaction With Turkish Airlines BOC Aviation Limited announced 26 May two concurrent milestones. The first of these is a purchase and lease back (“PLB”) transaction with Turkish Airlines for a Boeing 777-300ER that takes deliveries scheduled for 2017 to a record 80 aircraft. Secondly, this addition to the Company’s portfolio will mean that our owned and managed fleet now exceeds 300 aircraft. CALC delivers first Airbus A320 to Spring Airlines China Aircraft Leasing Group announced that it has delivered the first Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Spring Airlines, with the other three aircraft to be delivered to the airline within the year. The delivery followed the signing of a lease agreement for four Airbus A320-200s between Spring Airlines and CALC. This first and successful delivery lays a solid foundation for future cooperation, as well as unveils further potential development opportunities in China's aviation industry. China Southern to take 28 aircraft from leasing arm China Southern Airlines and its subsidiaries will take the 28 aircraft that it is scheduled to receive from 1 July to 31 December, from its leasing arm CSA International. Under the deal, China Southern will take the 28 Airbus and Boeing jets from CSA International through sale-and-leaseback agreements. Russo-Chinese joint venture set up to design new widebody Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) have reached another milestone in the joint program to develop a new-generation long-haul widebody aircraft, codenamed C929. On May 22, the partners opened the Shanghai office of their joint venture (JV) that will manage the project.
