China Airlines plans new route to Da Nang
China Airlines will start operating five weekly direct flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, on 2 January 2023 as part of preparations for the passenger market's post-pandemic recovery. The most recent A321neo aircraft will fly the route. In preparation for the borders reopening, the airline is raising the total number of passenger-carrying flights by 50% in Q4.

China Southern Airlines and Vietnam Airlines have signed an extensive collaboration agreement covering commerce, services, and techniques to improve flight experience of and bring outstanding value to their passengers.
COMAC C919 Achieves Certification in China
The Commercial Aircraft Corporation C919 passenger aircraft has achieved certification approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The majority of the C919 program’s key components, including avoinics, engines are supplied by western companies such as Collins Aerospace, GE Aviation and Honeywell Aerospace in a joint ventures and partnerships with Chinese companies supplying COMAC.
P&W Rapid Response Engine Care Available Out of Shanghai Engine Center
The Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Services unit has opened Shanghai Engine Center rapid response engine care for GTF and V2500 engine customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
Tourism festival spurs consumption in Shanghai
During the three-week Shanghai Tourism Festival, with the city's tourist attractions recording 10.67 million visits, said the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism. During the tourism festival the occupancy rate of hotels in Shanghai reached 54% up 7% from August.
