Air China has renewed its partnership with Datalex
Datalex has renewed its contract with Air China for three years, making it the first customer in the region to benefit from Datalex's new China shopping and pricing product that specifically caters to the Chinese market. Datalex CEO Sean Corkery, said “We look forward to being a key enabler of Air China’s digital transformation strategy as we work together to future-proof Air China’s digital retailing capabilities. We have invested significantly in the development of the Datalex China shopping and pricing engine product to cater for the unique market needs in China, bringing greater value and commitment to the region.”
Beijing Capital Helicopters granted HAI-APS accreditation
Beijing Capital Helicopters has received accreditation from the Helicopter Association International Accreditation Programme of Safety (HAI-APS), making it the first helicopter company in China to do so. HAI-APS is a voluntary scheme that aims to improve safety cultures and reduce accident rates in helicopter operations. The programme is based on the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) and includes Helicopter Mission-Specific Standards (HMSS) that are designed to address the unique operational environments of rotary-wing aircraft.
History Museum of China Aviation opens in Beijing
In Beijing, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the Aero Engine Corporation of China, and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China have jointly established the History Museum of China Aviation Industry. This museum is the only place that showcases China's 110-year aviation history, along with 10 display aircraft, providing a comprehensive display. The museum is situated in Beijing's Miyun District and has been officially inaugurated.
Etihad Cargo and SF Airlines enhance network connectivity
Etihad Cargo has demonstrated its dedication to China by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SF Airlines. The agreement entails that both airlines will commence flights to each other's hubs effective from 28th April. This move will enable Etihad to broaden its presence in China through SF Airlines' vast domestic network.
