AVIC Shenyang Commercial Aircraft Corporation Selected for Manufacturing of the Main Deck Cargo Door for Sine Draco Aviation Development's A321-200 SDF Sine Draco Aviation Development Ltd announced the selection of AVIC Shenyang Commercial Aircraft Corporation (SACC), located in Shenyang, Liaoning, China, for manufacturing of the main deck cargo door and surround for its prototype A321 passenger to freighter conversion (A321-200 SDF). AVIC SACC will be manufacturing the main deck cargo door, surround and reinforcement structure for the prototype A321-200 SDF.  These components will require the production of complex structural elements using the latest manufacturing techniques and processes. Sine Draco expects FAA approval of its A321-200 SDF late in the first quarter of 2022. China Duty Free Group and The Design Solution reveal ambitious commercial plans for Tianfu International China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and The Design Solution have previewed their jointly developed designs for the airside commercial area at the new Tianfu International Airport in Chengdu. This follows CDFG’s success in winning the contract to operate 4,000sq m space. The airport is due to open in mid-2021. The design scheme reflects Chengdu’s significance throughout history. It is inspired by the cultural heritage and evocative era of the Silk Road that first connected Southwest China with the rest of the world, introducing trade in fine goods including tea, gunpowder, silk and paper. China Southern Airlines celebrates 10 years of New Zealand service China Southern Airlines celebrated its one decade of flight services between China and New Zealand last week. A celebration event was held with Ronald McDonald House Charity at the Auckland City Hospital. At the event guests and participants worked together to make dinners for the families with hospitalized children at the Ronald McDonald House.
