BOC Aviation Issues Clarification That All Of Its Expected 2020 Aircraft Deliveries Are Placed On Lease BOC Aviation announced it has signed lease agreements in place for all 58 aircraft expected to be delivered to the Company in 2020, as disclosed in the Company’s results announcement dated 11 March 2020. The total of 58 aircraft includes four aircraft that have already been delivered. After the Company’s results announcement dated 11 March 2020, the Company announced on 16 March 2020 that an additional six aircraft that are the subject of the purchase and leaseback transaction are expected to deliver in March 2020, and these six aircraft are also subject to long term leases. BOC Aviation Signs Purchase-and-Leaseback Agreement with Cathay Pacific for Six Boeing 777-300ER Aircraft BOC Aviation announced that it has signed a purchase-and-leaseback agreement with Cathay Pacific for six Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. All six aircraft will be placed on long-term leases with Cathay. Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, BOC Aviation, said “We are pleased to be supporting Cathay once again, building on a long-term relationship that dates back to 2009. This transaction highlights the way we can bring financing solutions to our customers, on the strength of our balance sheet, our A- credit ratings and our available liquidity.”4 CALC’s FL ARI obtains EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organization certification for line maintenance in China FL ARI Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Company announce that it has obtained certification approval as an EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organization. FL ARI is a joint venture between China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC), its mid- to end-of-life aircraft solutions arm Aircraft Recycling International (ARI), and FL Technics, a leading provider of MRO services in Europe. FL ARI is now cleared to provide line maintenance support for aircraft from the Boeing 737 NG series to Airbus A320 families. Comac Boosts ARJ21 Production with Second Assembly Line Chinese airframer Comac is ramping up production of its ARJ21-700 regional jet following the official opening of a second assembly line at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The latest manufacturing line holds the capacity to assemble 30 aircraft per year with room to create a second line to further boost production rates. Comac had previously said that it would need a new line due to space constraints at its Shanghai aircraft manufacturing facility on Changzhong Road, as capacity at that plant cannot exceed 15 ARJ21s per year.
