China Aircraft Leasing Company to acquire two Boeing 737-800s China Aircraft Leasing has agreed to acquire three 2014-vintage Boeing 737-800s from the affiliated Aircraft Recycling International before leasing them to an unnamed Chinese airline according to Flightglobal. China Eastern Airlines Launches new subsidiary airline China Eastern Airlines launched a new subsidiary airline OTT Airlines to operate the nation's homegrown aircrafts such as the ARJ21 and the C919. The newly established carrier will operate a mix of Chinese manufactured commercial aircrafts as well as business jets to serve demand from the Yangtze River Delta region and beyond, according to China Eastern. China Sharing Its Experiences with Virus-Hit Nations, Civil Aviation Body Says China civil aviation authority has been working closely with countries hit by the novel coronavirus outbreak to make unified epidemic prevention and control standards in an effort to curb its spread. Zhu Tao, chief of flight standard department of Civil Aviation Administration of China, said last weekend at a news conference in Beijing that the administration has been sharing its effective practices and experiences of epidemic prevention and control in the civil aviation sector with other countries. The administration has provided guidelines of epidemic prevention and control to civil aviation authorities and airlines in South Korea, Japan and other countries for their references, he said. China Southern Airlines Resumes over 2,100 Domestic Flights amid Epidemic China Southern Airlines has resumed over 2,100 domestic flights amid the epidemic, according to the company. The flights were mainly from southwest, central and southern China to first-tier cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and east China. The airline has made proper arrangements for flights, crews and other resources to ensure transport capacity while keeping a close eye on the changes of various countries' entry policies for international flights.
