Air China’s relaunched business jet subsidiary eyes Beijing’s new airport base Air China has secured clearance from the CAAC North China Regional Administration to relaunch its business jet subsidiary, Beijing Airlines, for public passenger transport, which could pave the way for Air China to get a position at Beijing’s new airport, expected to open in 2019. BOC Aviation Delivers First Airbus A320NEO to TAP-Air Portugal BOC Aviation has delivered one Airbus A320NEO aircraft to TAP Air Portugal. This is the first of six aircraft committed for lease to the airline. This aircraft is from the Company's existing order book. BOC Aviation Delivers Fourth Airbus A350-900 to Qatar Airways BOC Aviation has delivered an Airbus A350-900 aircraft to Qatar Airways. This is the fourth of six new aircraft leased to the airline under a purchase-and-leaseback agreement. CDB Aviation Enlists Stiles Realty Stiles announced 26 April that CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC a wholly owned subsidiary of CDB Leasing, has enlisted Stiles Realty to lease its first U.S. headquarters to accommodate its regional business platform, CDB Aviation Americas LLC. The group, which specializes in the lease and finance of commercial aircraft, has leased an office at 515 East Las Olas Boulevard, also known as Las Olas Square. CDB Aviation, currently with a fleet of more than 400 commercial jet aircraft on lease and on order, plans to support a fleet growing to 600 aircraft with a top-tier leasing program based out of its new Fort Lauderdale offices, alongside those in Hong Kong and Dublin. China JV freighter airline delayed another year The launch of China’s new cargo airline, the joint venture with Cargolux, looks set to be delayed yet another year. Henan Cargo Airlines, the JV from HNCA, Henan Airport Group and Xinggang Investment Group, is now more likely to launch in the third quarter of 2019, rather than this year. Speaking to The Loadstar, Richard Forson, CEO, said the “processes involved have taken longer than anticipated”. Hainan Airlines to Launch Tel Aviv-Guangzhou Service on August 2 Hainan Airlines announced 27 April the launch of nonstop service between Tel Aviv and Guangzhou scheduled to start on August 2, 2018. The route will be serviced by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner three flights a week. Following the rollout of Tel Aviv-Beijing and Tel Aviv-Shanghai services, this is Hainan Airlines' third direct flight between Tel Aviv and China. Following the flight from Tel Aviv to Beijing and the flight from Tel Aviv to Shanghai, this is Hainan Airlines' third direct flight between Tel Aviv and China. This new route will deliver a new level of convenience for Israelis when they travel to China, while creating more possibilities for business cooperation between Israeli and Chinese companies. Inmarsat signs with CTTIC and ADCC as China distribution partners Inmarsat has signed a contract with China Transport Telecommunication Information Group Company Limited (CTTIC) to build a local SwiftBroadband-Safety (SB-S) satellite communication operation platform in China. Under the partnership, Chinese airlines will now have access to a comprehensive package that integrates Inmarsat’s Classic Aero and next-generation IP-based SB-S services. This will enable them, for the first time, to process all their data in China and fulfil the Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC)’s Airline Operations Centre (AOC) voice mandate and flight tracking requirements.
