Air Serbia looking at China In an interview with Ex Yu Aviation website Air Serbia CEO Duncan Naysmith stated the carrier could look at long haul destinations for expansion including China. Budapest Airport aims for China cargo with dedicated facilities Budapest Airport (BUD) has dedicated an air cargo facility to cargo from China as part of efforts to become a central European distribution hub for traffic from the country. It aims to establish “the aerial Silk Road between Hungary and China” and create dedicated logistics centers at the two airports. China slightly eases international flight suspension rules China's aviation regulator will slightly relax suspension rules on international flights due to COVID-19 as it seeks to facilitate more flexible capacity arrangement for airlines. In a statement the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) stated that airlines can now choose to cap the load factor on a flight, or percentage of seats filled, to no more than 40% for four weeks if more than five but less than 10 passengers on a previous flight test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in China effective from the 1st of May. RSHP and CNADRI to design Terminal 4 at Bao’an International Airport in Shenzhen Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (RSHP) in collaboration with China Northeast Architectural Design & Research Institute, Shenzhen, (CNADRI) have won a design competition organised by Shenzhen Airport for Terminal 4 Bao’an International Airport in Shenzhen, China. The scheme will deliver a new 400,000 square metre terminal building with 60 new stands and connections to the mid-field satellite. Working with AECOM and Railway 2, the terminal will provide connections to existing and new transport infrastructure. The building aims to meet the demand of 31 million pax per annum (including 24 million international and 7 million domestic). TimeVallée underlines Chinese domestic airport ambitions with Beijing Capital International T3 opening Specialist watch concept TimeVallée opened at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 last week in a partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail.The opening in T3, dedicated to domestic travellers, represents TimeVallee’s debut airport store, according to TimeVallée International CEO Michael Guenoun.
