Akasa Air refreshes Café Akasa in-flight menu

Akasa Air announced an enhanced inflight food and beverage menu for Café Akasa, its onboard meal service. The new menu has been curated to include a variety of gourmet meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages to ensure there is something to cater to a wide of customer client. The menu refresh is a result of an extensive customer service feedback. Akasa Air Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Belson Coutinho, said, “India's rich food heritage and cultural diversity have been at the heart of our Café Akasa offering since inception. We constantly upgrade our menu in line with our promise to share the diverse essence of India and provide a memorable experience to our valued customers. BLR Airport Welcomes Air India Gatwick route

Bangalore International Airport Ltd, the operator of Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport), announced that Air India will be launching non-stop services between Bengaluru and London Gatwick commencing on August 18, operating five times weekly. Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) Chief Operating Officer Satyaki Raghunath said, "We are thrilled about this new development, which strengthens our ongoing partnership with Air India and greatly enhances our connectivity to London. This new route will boost trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. London is one of our busiest long-haul markets and the new service will allow our passengers have a choice of airports in London to travel to. We look forward to adding more destinations to our network, thereby reinforcing our position as the Gateway to South and Central India.”

 

Fly91 Selects ATR’s Maintenance Support Programme

FLY91, announced the signature of a Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA). Under the GMA ATR will provide repair, overhaul and pooling services of Line Replaceable Units, propeller availability and repair services, as well as engineering and on-site support for FLY91’s growing fleet of ATR aircraft. FLY91 Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Chacko, said “While the ATR 72-600 stands out as the smartest aircraft choice, offering unbeatable economics and cabin comfort, the ATR GMA will be instrumental in further boosting our operations. IndiGo expands Durgapur network

IndiGo announced three new routes from Durgapur to Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar and Guwahati commencing 30 August, opening new connectivity opportunities less than 2 hours time with as region had surface transport being a primary source of access. IndiGo Head of Global Sales Mr. Vinay Malhotra said, "We are pleased to announce new routes connecting Durgapur with Bhubaneswar, Bagdogra, and Guwahati. With these direct flights, we aim to provide our customers with further seamless connectivity. These new routes will significantly reduce travel time by up to 90%, providing passengers with more convenient travel options. As India’s leading carrier, we remain committed to providing our customers with seamless connections through the extensive 6E network.”
