Gulfstream commences G700 Deliveries
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) Leases Boeing 737-800 to Air North
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) announced that it leased a recently acquired Boeing 737-8AL to Air North, the first of this type for the carrier. Air North CEO & Co-Founder Joseph Sparling, said "With today's increasing focus on the environment, moving ahead to Next Generation Boeing 737s is a significant step for us. Passengers will be impressed by the contemporary, comfortable cabin, and the fuel efficiency and other cost savings will help us to deliver a great product at a fair price for years to come."
Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) Redelivers Boeing 737-800SF To Serve Air
Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) announced the redelivery of a Boeing 737-800SF freighter from Commercial Jet in Dothan, Alabama to Democratic Republic of Congo-based Serve Air. This aircraft (MSN 30517) represents the second AEI B737-800SF that Serve Air is now operating. AEI previously mentioned that Serve Air is the first operator of the AEI Boeing 37-800SF freighter in the Democratic Republic of Congo and is expected to increase its fleet of AEI Boeing 737-800SF freighters to a total of six aircraft in the coming years.
Eve Air Mobility and AirX Inc. Sign Letter of Intent for up to 50 eVTOLs
Eve Air Mobility announced it has signed a letter of intent with AirX Inc for up to 10 firm and up to 40 optional electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The order will support the continued development and scaling of innovative transportation operations in Japan. Eve Air Mobility announced that its first eVTOL production facility will be located in the city of Taubaté, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The company has begun assembly of its first full-scale eVTOL prototype which will be followed by a test campaign.
Gulfstream commences G700 Deliveries
Gulfstream Aerospace announced commencement of new Gulfstream G700 deliveries. The first two Gulfstream G700 aircraft have been delivered and are now in service with Gulfstream clients. The aircraft has a range of 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 kilometre’s) at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm (12,316 km) at Mach 0.90 according to operational requirements. The maximum operating speed of the G700 is Mach 0.935.
Gulfstream Aerospace President Mark Burns said “Beginning G700 customer deliveries less than one month after achieving Federal Aviation Administration type certification marks an incredible milestone in Gulfstream’s history of raising the bar for the business aviation industry.
