Air India deploys Salesforce to enhance customer experience

Air India announced a key part of the Vihaan.AI initiative to enhance customer experience in collaboration with Salesforce to transform its customer service technology stack. Through their work with Salesforce, Air India will be able to optimize the customer experience in all key touchpoints online, on the ground and in the air. Air India’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Dr. Satya Ramaswamy said “Providing a delightful experience to our customers across all touchpoints is the most important responsibility for every one of us Air Indians. We need to be able to understand our customers’ needs proactively and take care of them with utmost diligence. When things don’t go as expected, we want to be able to address the challenges faced by our customers with speed and take them to comprehensive closure. Having a scalable technology platform that enables us to accomplish the above effectively is critical to our business.”

IndiGo announces new Mumbai- Dhaka route

IndiGo announced the launch of a new route between Mumbai and Dhaka in response to strong market demand, effective from 26th March. IndiGo Head of Global Sales Vinay Malhotra said “We are pleased to connect the commercial centre of India to the commercial centre of Bangladesh, to serve business as well as leisure customers. As Maharashtra government is planning to invest more in the tourism sector and generate more jobs in the sector, Mumbai has a great potential to be a tourist hub.”

Minister of Civil Aviation addresses CAPA Aviation Summit

Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia highlighted the various aspects of the development of the Indian aviation industry while addressing the CAPA India’s Aviation Summit 2023. The Minister said a key part of the Make In India campaign, the government has been focussing on ensuring India becomes an integral part of Global Supply Chains, as Indian carriers are expected to order about 1500 to 1700 aircraft in near future.

Vistara launches new Mumbai to Dammam route

Vistara commenced a new daily Airbus A320neo service between Mumbai and Dammam. This is Vistara’ s second destination in Saudi Arabia, complementing its existing route between Mumbai and Jeddah.  Vistara CEO Mr. Vinod Kannan, said “We are delighted to commence operations to Dammam, a major administrative hub in Saudi Arabia and home to a large Indian diaspora. The addition of Dammam to our growing international network is in line with our goal to further strengthen our presence in the Middle East. Dammam will be the fifth Vistara destination in the region – after Dubai, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. We are certain that, Vistara, with its award-winning product and services will be a preferred carrier on the Mumbai-Dammam route.”
