AAI technical team visits proposed site of Puri international airport The Airports Authority of India (AAI) technical team undertook an on-the spot verification of Sipasarubali area in the outskirt of the pilgrim town, for the proposed international airport in Puri. AAI has already sent a complete report for an international airport at Puri to the Odisha government and is awaiting its response on developing a greenfield airport at Puri. GMR Group & BW Businessworld collaborates to launch monthly publication - Aerocity Live GMR Group has announced a new collaboration with BW Businessworld, to launch a new monthly publication titled Aerocity Live. The objective is for Aerocity Live to become the voice of this bustling urban district that witnesses millions of footfalls every month at GMR Aerocity. Skye Air begins drone delivery trials for diagnostic sample collection Skye Air Mobility has commenced its 10-day BVLoS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) trials of deliveries through drones in Noida, Greater Noida and Meerut for diagnostic sample collection up to 5kg, prior to the commercial roll-out of the service in several semi-urban and remote locations in India. Trainer aircraft Hansa-NG successfully completes maiden sea trials India’s indigenous flying trainer aircraft Hansa New Generation (Hansa-NG), designed and developed by CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru, has successfully completed the sea level trials at Puducherry between 19 February 19 and 5 March. The National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL),  has already received more than 80 LOI’s (Letter of Intents) from various flying clubs for the aircraft. Tripartite MoU signed to set up Barak Valley greenfield airport A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Doloo Tea Company Private Limited, various trade unions representing the tea garden workers and the district administration at the office of the Cachar deputy commissioner here to set up Barak Valley airport in the tea estate.
