Air Astana Resumes Flights From Almaty To New Delhi Air Astana announce it will resume flights from Almaty to New Delhi from 16th December three services a week operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. Air Seychelles to resume flights between India and Seychelles from 2 December Air Seychelles has confirmed itwill resume scheduled passenger flights between India and the Seychelles effective 2 December. The return of the Seychelles colors to one of India’s biggest cities and commercial financial center, Mumbai, follows the removal of travel restrictions between the two countries as announced by the local Ministry of Health on 12 November. Blade India Expands Service with Airbus H125s Blade India is expanding its service there with five new leased Airbus Helicopters H125 singles provided to its operators there. Blade India launched in 2019 and is the joint venture of Blade UAM Inc. US and Hunch Ventures Group India. Blade India currently provides service from Mumbai to Pune and Shirdi, as well as charter destinations. It is negotiating with state governments and tourism boards to introduce short-haul services to more locations in India. India Has Potential To Be Number One In Air Travel By Next Decade India has the potential to attain the top position in air travel in about a decade, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said last week, underlining the government's commitment to pushing the sunrise sector to scale new heights. The government, he said, is committed to improving connectivity on both regional and long haul international routes, and has set a target of raising the number of airports to 220 by 2025 from 136 at present. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said "Two paradigms have changed from globalisation to hyper localisation, and reaching your destination in the shortest possible time. Connectivity has become the driver of growth. Civil aviation is in its sunrise phase." India to resume scheduled international flights from 15 December Scheduled international flights to and from India will be resumed from 15 December 15, the Civil Aviation Ministry announced following suspension since March 2020 due Covid-19. However special passenger flights have been operating since July last year under specific air bubble arrangements with 28 countries.The Civil Aviation Ministry wrote a letter to aviation regulator DGCA asking it to take "further necessary action" for the resumption of scheduled international flights stating "The matter of resumption of scheduled commercial international passenger services to and from India has been examined in consultation with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and it has been decided that scheduled commercial international passenger services to and from India may be resumed from 15 December 2021." Vistara Announces Resumption Of Flights from Mumbai to Singapore Vistara announced the resumption of flights between Singapore and Mumbai starting 29 November. The flights will be operated under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) that allows quarantine-free travel to Singapore for fully vaccinated travellers.
