Aircastle Closes $100 Million Revolving Credit Facility with Mizuho Marubeni Leasing America Corporation
Aircastle announced that it has closed a $100 million senior unsecured revolving credit facility with Mizuho Marubeni Leasing America Corporation, a US-based wholly owned subsidiary of Mizuho Marubeni Leasing Corporation. The facility expires in November 2023. Aircastle CEO Michael Inglese stated “Our unique ownership structure is a competitive advantage supporting our favorable credit rating. This facility demonstrates an outstanding commitment to Aircastle’s future by our shareholders through their joint venture, Mizuho Marubeni Leasing Corporation.”
Azorra Places Order For 20 Embraer E2 Aircraft
Azorra has signed an agreement with Embraer to acquire 20 new E2 family aircraft, plus a further 30 purchase rights. This flexible deal enables Azorra to acquire E190-E2 or E195-E2 aircraft. At list prices, the order is valued at $3.9 billion. Azorra is a Florida-based aircraft leasing company specialising in executive, regional and crossover aircraft. Deliveries will begin in 2023, adding a further 20 Embraer aircraft to the 21 already in Azorra’s existing and committed portfolio.
Castlelake Closes Fourth Aviation Fund with $1.6 Billion
Castlelake announced that it completed the final closing of Castlelake Aviation IV Stable Yield L.P. and related fund Castlelake Aviation IV Stable Yield Opportunities, L.P. totalling approximately $1.6 billion in capital commitments. The Fund received investments from a diverse range of institutions including pensions, sovereign funds and endowments from around the world. These capital commitments included a mix of both repeat and first-time commitments.
CDB Aviation Names Michelle Wu Head of Commercial, Greater China
CDB Aviation announced the appointment of Michelle Wu as Head of Commercial, Greater China. CDB Aviation Chief Marketing Officer Peter Goodman stated “Michelle is a seasoned aviation executive, well versed in anticipating and addressing the critical needs of airlines and leveraging market opportunities to stimulate growth, who will further entrench our comprehensive coverage within the Chinese market.”
Vmo Aircraft Leasing Completes Sale and Leaseback for Two A320 Aircraft with Cebu Pacific
Vmo Aircraft Leasing announced the completion of a sale and leaseback transaction for two Airbus A320-200 aircraft with Cebu Pacific. The aircraft were sold and leased back to the carrier prior to the end of 2021.
