Arctic Aviation Assets signs agreement for sale of two Airbus 320neo aircraft
Arctic Aviation Assets, a subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle announced 5 February it has signed an agreement for sale of two Airbus 320neo aircraft. The aircraft are currently leased out and thus not operated by the Company. Delivery will take place during February 2019. The transaction is expected to increase the Company's liquidity by $26 million after repayment of debt and have a positive equity effect.
CALC's Dublin Office Moves to City Center New Premises
CALC announced 28 January the relocation of its Dublin Office to its self-owned premises to accommodate its continued overseas business growth. Mr. Mike Poon, Chief Executive Officer of CALC said "We're excited to relocate our office premises in Dublin. Dublin has entrenched its reputation as an established global hub for aircraft leasing with its competitive corporation tax regime, double tax treaty network and effective legal and regulatory framework, laying a solid infrastructure for ample growth potential. FPG Amentum and FPG arrange the acquisition of a 777-300ER on lease to China Airlines
Financial Products Group Co., Ltd and FPG Amentum announced 6 February the acquisition of a Boeing 777-300ER. The aircraft was acquired from another lessor and is on lease to China Airlines Ltd.
FPG Amentum arranges sale of one TUI 737-800
FPG Amentum announced 6 February the sale of a Boeing 737-800 (MSN 37247) for one of its investor customers. The aircraft was sold to an Irish lessor at redelivery from operator TUI.
NAC delivered one Embraer E190, MSN 19000202, to Stobart Air on lease
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 7 February the delivery of one Embraer E190, MSN 19000202, to Stobart Air on lease.
SMBC Aviation Capital concludes significant Boeing 737 MAX lease deal with Southwest Airlines
SMBC Aviation Capital announced details of a significant Boeing 737 MAX lease transaction signed in December 2018 with Southwest Airlines. The transaction involves placement of twelve (12) B737 MAX 8 aircraft from SMBC Aviation Capital’s orderbook, with the first aircraft set for delivery in July 2019.
SMBC Aviation Capital signs seven aircraft SLB deal including PDP financing with Viva Aerobus
SMBC Aviation Capital announced its first sale and lease back deal of 2019. The deal with Viva Aerobus, also provides a Pre Delivery Payment facility for the aircraft. The transaction includes seven (7) Airbus A320 neo aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney engines scheduled for delivery this year. This follows on from SMBC Aviation Capital’s announcement of an order for 65 new A320neo family aircraft from Airbus.
