AerCap Leased, Purchased and Sold 90 Aircraft in the Second Quarter 2018 AerCap has announced its major business transactions during the 2018Q2 including lease agreements for 40 aircraft, including 8 widebody aircraft and 32 narrowbody aircraft and the purchase of 20 aircraft, including 15 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, 1 Airbus A350 and 4 Boeing 787-9s and executed sale transactions for 30 aircraft. Avolon signs 50 leases, delivers 13 aircraft in 2Q Irish aircraft lessor Avolon completed 50 lease transactions, delivered 13 aircraft and sold 41 during 2018Q2. The leases included new agreements, second leases and extensions, taking Avolon to a customer base of 156 airlines in 64 countries across the globe. CDB Aviation to Deliver Sixth A320neo Aircraft to SAS CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited announced 11 July the last delivery of a fleet of six Airbus A320-200neo aircraft to Scandinavia’s largest airline, SAS, as part of a sale and leaseback transaction commenced in March 2017. CDB Aviation Signs Lease Agreement for One A320neo Aircraft with Air Seychelles CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited announced 11 July the signing of a lease agreement for one new Airbus A320neo aircraft with the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, Air Seychelles. Goshawk takes delivery of an A321 NEO aircraft on lease to TAP Goshawk announced 9 July the delivery of an Airbus A321 NEO aircraft to TAP. This is Goshawk’s 100th delivered aircraft and the the first A321 NEO aircraft for TAP. The aircraft is the first of a three aircraft sale and leaseback transaction between the parties. NAC purchased and immediately leased back one Bombardier DHC8-400, MSN 4582, to Philippine Airlines Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) confirmed 5 July that it has purchased and immediately leased back one Bombardier DHC8-400, MSN 4582, to Philippine Airlines (PAL).
