FPG Amentum and FPG arrange the acquisition of two Wizz Air A321NEOs
Financial Products Group Co., Ltd and FPG Amentum announced on 4th August the acquisition of two Airbus A321-200NX. The aircraft were acquired in a sale & leaseback transaction and are on lease to a subsidiary of Wizz Air group.
GECAS Cargo Tops Up Orderbook with More 737-800BCF Narrowbody Freighters
GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services) signed an agreement with Boeing converting 11 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) options to firm orders and adding nine additional options to the GECAS Cargo order book. This agreement marks a repeat order by the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric [NYSE: GE] for the 737-800BCF, bringing their total orderbook for the type to 74 (60 firm and 14 options) since the narrowbody conversion program was announced in 2016. The 20 in this agreement are scheduled to complete conversions between 2022 and 2024.
GECAS provides Hongtu Airlines its first A320neo
GECAS has delivered the first of four A320neo headed to Yunnan Hongtu Airlines (Hongtu Airlines). As announced at Farnborough 2018, Hongtu Airlines (operating as Air Travel) has agreed to lease four of the new-technology narrowbodies from GECAS’ skyline orderbook. This delivery marks the first LEAP-powered A320neo to enter service with Hongtu Airlines.
GECAS Delivers Second of Four A320neos to Colorful Guizhou Airlines
GECAS delivered an A320neo aircraft to Colorful Guizhou Airlines in Tianjin, China. This is the second LEAP1A- powered A320neo aircraft to be delivered to the airline from the lessors’ order book. In June 2019, GECAS and Colorful Guizhou Airlines announced the agreement to lease four A320neo with deliveries beginning in late 2019 and continuing into 2020.
Nordic Aviation Capital delivered one ATR 72-600, MSN 1450, to Windrose Aviation Company LLC on lease
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) confirmed 4th August the delivery of one ATR 72-600, MSN 1450, to Windrose Aviation Company LLC on lease.
SKY Leasing Announces Sale-Leaseback For (6) A321-200NEO Aircraft With JetBlue
SKY Leasing announced it has signed an agreement for the sale and leaseback of (6) A321-200NEO aircraft with JetBlue. The transaction covers deliveries to JetBlue from Q2 to Q4 2020. Austin Wiley, Chief Executive Officer SKY Leasing said "We are pleased to start this new partnership with JetBlue and demonstrate our ability to quickly execute large-scale sale-leasebacks despite the challenging backdrop that Covid-19 presents."
