Canada Jetlines Receives First Airbus A320-200 Aircraft from Jackson Square Aviation
Canada Jetlines announced the delivery of its first Airbus A320-200 aircraft from Jackson Square Aviation, with a projected growth of 15 aircraft by 2025. The newly established carrier plans to launch routes to coveted sun-destinations, with launch slated for spring of 2022. JSA Head of Americas Marketing & OEM Relations John Yanney said “We are excited to be a part of Canada Jetlines journey to launch operations as Canada’s newest charter airline, and are delighted to welcome the airline as our newest customer. We look forward to developing a long-term partnership with Canada Jetlines as the airline begins to flourish and build upon its future successes as they commence flying in 2022.”
CDB Aviation Completes Deliveries of 15 New Boeing Aircraft to United
CDB Aviation announced the completion of deliveries of a fleet of fifteen new Boeing aircraft to United Airlines. The sale and leaseback transaction covered a fleet of two 787-9 Dreamliners and thirteen 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which were delivered between 2020 and 2021. CDB Aviation Chief Marketing Officer Peter Goodman said “We want to thank members of both the United and CDB Aviation teams who collaborated on structuring and expediently executing this complex transaction during a particularly challenging period for the industry.”
FPG Amentum completes exceptionally busy trading year 2021
FPG Amentum announced an exceptionally busy trading year 2021. Amid the Covid-19 environment FPG Amentum traded 28 aircraft. FPG Amentum managed four lease transitions to three different airlines and extended leases of a total of eleven aircraft on lease to four different lessees. A highlight on the debt-structuring side was the first ever AFIC-supported financing of a Japanese Operating Lease for which FPG Amentum and its financing partners were awarded the Middle East & Africa Supported Finance Deal of the Year 2021 by Airline Economics Amentum is looking forward to 2022 with $ 0.5bn of committed SLB-deliveries scheduled for the year.
Jackson Square Aviation Announces Financing of four Boeing 737 Family Aircraft to SunExpress Airlines
Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) announced the financing of four new 737 Family aircraft for SunExpress Airlines. JSA SVP Marketing & Capital Markets EMEA stated “We are honoured to initiate our relationship with SunExpress through the financing of these four 737 Family aircraft and welcome the airline as our newest customer.”
NAC strengthens its Executive Leadership Team with four senior appointments
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced its plan to strengthen its Executive Leadership Team with the appointment of Mike Jones as EVP Global Marketing, David Farrell as EVP & Chief Risk Officer, Colin Joyce as EVP Marketing Operations and Ross McKeand as SVP Specialty Markets / Fleet Planning all former of GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS).
