AerCap Holdings N.V. Announces 20-F Filing
AerCap announced 9 March it has filed its annual report on Form 20-F, including its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2017, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in accordance with United States requirements. AerCap's Form 20-F can be accessed on the “Investors” section of its website at

KBRA Assigns Preliminary Ratings to Sapphire Aviation Finance I Limited
Kroll Bond Rating Agency announced 8 March the assignment of preliminary ratings to three classes of notes issued by Sapphire Aviation Finance I Limited. Proceeds from the sale of the Notes will be used to acquire 41 aircraft that are initially leased to 30 lessees located in 19 countries with an initial total value of approximately $962.4 million.
Kremlin leasing company to set up Irish finance arm
GTLK Europeis expanding its Irish operation with plans to open a dedicated finance arm. The Dublin-based company, which manages a portfolio of air and sea vehicles worth of over $1.5 billion (€1.2 billion), has made an application to establish a financing unit with initial capital of $100 million, according to a filing last month to the Companies Registration Office.
NAC appoints Steve Gorman as new Chief Funding Officer
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 14 March its plan to strengthen its Executive Management Team with the appointment of Steve Gorman as Chief Funding Officer with immediate effect. Steve has more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry and was one of the founders of Aldus Aviation.
UKEF supports export of Bombardier aircraft made in Belfast
Baroness Fairhead announces UKEF financing for the sale of C Series aircraft to Korean Air Lines, supporting investment and jobs in Northern Ireland. UKEF has worked in partnership with Canadian export credit agency, Export Development Canada (EDC), to provide Korean Air Lines with financing to support the sale to date of two C Series aircraft, whose wings and parts of the fuselage – a significant proportion of the complete aircraft – are made at Bombardier’s site in Belfast. UKEF has provided reinsurance support to EDC for the UK elements of the aircraft.
