Avolon delivers one Airbus A320-200N to Tianjin Airlines
Avolon announced 7 September the delivery of one Airbus A320-200N aircraft to Tianjin Airlines. This is the third Avolon aircraft on lease to Tianjin Airlines.
Avolon Announces Pricing of $1.25 billion Senior Notes Offering
Avolon announced the pricing of a private offering by its wholly owned subsidiary, Park Aerospace Holdings Limited, of US$950 million aggregate principal amount of 4.500% Senior Notes due 2023 at par, and US$300 million aggregate principal amount of 3.625% Senior Notes due 2021 at par. The Offering is expected to close on or about 25 September, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions, the net proceeds from the Offering for general corporate purposes.
Avolon raises US$14 billion of capital year to date in 2017
Avolon announced 15 September the successful repricing of its senior secured US$5.0 billion term B-2 loan facility. This repricing follows the pricing of a private offering by Avolon of US$1.25 billion, aggregate principal amount, of unsecured senior notes on 14 September. The Offering was increased from an initial target size of US$1.0 billion. Year to date, including the US$1.25 billion Notes, Avolon will have raised US$14 billion of total capital. This includes both new equity and new debt, US$9.75 billion of which will have been raised in the capital markets.
SMBC Aviation Capital partners with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities
SMBC Aviation Capital announced 20 September a new partnership with the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID). SMBC Aviation Capital will be a Business Partner of the centre, working towards the shared goal of ensuring that all graduates have the same access to quality further education and the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue successful careers. From the end of September, the company will welcome Paula Conradie, a recent graduate of the programme to join the team for a three month placement. The company will also provide financial support to TCPID and its programmes.
S&P Upgrades Avolon’s Senior Unsecured Notes to BB
Avolon announced 14 September S&P Global Ratings has upgraded its issue-level rating on the senior unsecured notes due 2022 and 2024 issued by its wholly owned subsidiary Park Aerospace Holdings Limited from BB- to BB, with a stable outlook. S&P maintains its BB+ corporate credit rating on Avolon, with a stable outlook.
TrueNoord receives new investment from Aberdeen Asset Management
TrueNoord announced 19 September that Aberdeen Asset Management and part of the newly merged investment company - Standard Life Aberdeen, will be co-investing in the company alongside BlackRock who joined as investor in June this year, and Bregal Freshstream who invested in the company in 2016.
