Acasta Enters into Definitive Agreement to Sell Stellwagen Business Unit Acasta announced 20 March that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the previously announced sale of its Stellwagen business unit to a company that will be indirectly owned by Mr. Douglas Brennan and certain other investors. Avolon delivers one Boeing B787-9 to Air Europa Avolon announced 20 March the delivery of one Boeing B787-9 aircraft to Air Europa. This is the sixth Avolon aircraft on lease to Air Europa. BBAM and Nomura Babcock & Brown Participate in a $870 Million Combined EETC JOLCO Transaction with British Airways BBAM Limited Partnership (BBAM) announced 20 March its participation, alongside its long-term partner Nomura Babcock & Brown Co., Ltd. (NBB), in a $870 million transaction combining senior secured enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETC) and Japanese operating lease with call option (JOLCO) equity in relation to a number of new generation British Airways operated aircraft. The transaction will provide financing for 11 aircraft, including two 787-8, two 787-9 and seven A320neo aircraft. The deal combines EETC and JOLCO structures, allowing the aircraft to be financed by the proceeds from the British Airways 2018-1 certificates and equity arranged by NBB. Chorus Aviation Announces Leasing Transaction with CityJet Chorus Aviation announced 21 March the acquisition of two Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft for lease to CityJet of Dublin, Ireland. The aircraft were purchased from CityJet pursuant to a sale and leaseback transaction. These aircraft are two years old and constitute incremental additions to Chorus Aviation Capital's growing regional aircraft fleet. Elix Aviation Capital Delivers Bombardier Q400 MSN 4554 to Jambojet Elix Aviation Capital announced 16 March the delivery of one Bombardier Q400, MSN 4554, on lease to Jambojet of Kenya. This is the first delivery by Elix to Jambojet. Senior Executive Team Appointment at Stellwagen Stellwagen announced 19 March the appointment of Aengus Whelan to the company as Chief Commercial Officer. The appointment takes place with immediate effect.
