AerCap: All new order positions placed for 2018, 118 used aircraft to be placed over 2018/19
AerCap in its 2017 Investor Day presentation reported it has 33 used aircraft requiring placing in 2018 and another 85 requiring placing in 2019. The company has placed 100% of its order book for 2018 and only requires another 18 aircraft to be placed for 2019.
AerCap Holdings N.V. Announces Pricing of $800 Million Aggregate Principal Amount of Senior Notes
AerCap announced 16 November that AerCap Ireland Capital Designated Activity Company and AerCap Global Aviation Trust each a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, priced their offering of senior notes, consisting of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 3.50% Senior Notes due 2025 .The Notes will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by the Company and certain other subsidiaries of the Company. The Issuers intend to use the net proceeds from the Notes for general corporate purposes.
Avolon Announces Re-Pricing & Partial Repayment of US$500 million Term Loan B-1 Facility
Avolon announced 17 November the re-pricing and partial repayment of its US$500 million Term Loan B-1 facility. The TLB-1 facility, with a September 2020 maturity, was originally priced in March 2017 at LIBOR plus 2.25% with a LIBOR floor of 0%. The facility has now been repriced at LIBOR plus 1.75% with a LIBOR floor of 0%. The loans under the repriced TLB-1 facility were issued at par and not subject to an Original Issue Discount (OID). In conjunction with this repricing Avolon repaid US$130 million of the original TLB-1 facility.
CDB Aviation Delivers A321-200 Aircraft To New Airline Customer Asiana Airlines
CDB Aviation announced 17 November that the company delivered one Airbus A321-200 aircraft to South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines. The A321-200 aircraft will be sub-leased to Asiana Airlines’ subsidiary and low-cost carrier Air Busan, and will be operated on its network of services from its Busan Gimhae International Airport main base.
CDB Aviation Delivers First of 14 New A320neo Aircraft to India’s GoAir
CDB Aviation announced 20 November the delivery of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft to India-based, low-cost carrier Go Airlines (India) Ltd. The aircraft is the first of a total of 14 A320neos to be delivered to GoAir as part of a Purchase and Leaseback transaction, which involves a binding agreement for five aircraft and a non-binding Letter of Intent for an additional nine aircraft that are subject to CDB Aviation internal approvals, signed between the airline and CDB Aviation. The program is expected to run through the end of 2019, with the initial five aircraft to be delivered by the end of 2017. The aircraft will join the carrier’s all-A320 fleet and will be operated on its domestic network that connects prominent business metros and leisure destinations across the Indian subcontinent.
CDB Aviation Delivers One New Boeing 737-800 to Air Changan
CDB Aviation announced 17 November that a domestic Chinese carrier Air Changan took delivery of its first new Boeing 737-800 aircraft on lease from CDB Aviation at a handover ceremony on November 16 at Boeing Field in Seattle. This is the first time Air Changan took delivery of a new 737-800 aircraft, which will join the Shaanxi Province-based carrier’s 737-800-only fleet and will be operated from Xian Xianyang International Airport on services to regional destinations.
