Aersale Orders Six Additional Precision 757-200PCF Conversions Plus Four Option Aircraft Bringing The Total Commitment To A Potential 16
Precision Aircraft Solutions (announced the award of a contract from AerSale for six (6) additional 757-200PCF conversions plus four options, bringing the total number of potential commitments to sixteen (16). AerSale began converting their first 757-200PCF in January 2021, and the 6th unit will be inducted in February 2022. Later this year, AerSale will begin inducting additional 757-200 conversions in HAECO Xiamen to supplement existing capacity in North America.
CDB Aviation Completes Deliveries of Seven 737 MAX Aircraft to Brazil’s GOL
CDB Aviation announced the delivery of the last of seven Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. The aircraft, configured with a 186-seat layout, incorporating both GOL+Conforto and GOL Premium class seats, were delivered from the lessor’s orderbook with Boeing as part of the lease agreements originally signed with the carrier in 2020.
FPG Amentum announces CEO Martin Bouzaima to step down, appoints Rupert Leggett into role
FPG Amentum announced that Martin Bouzaima plans to step down as Chief Executive Officer in July 2022. The Board of Directors has appointed Rupert Leggett, Chief Commercial Officer to succeed Bouzaima as Chief Executive Officer effective in July at which time he will also join the FPG Amentum board.
Griffin Global Asset Management Announces the Delivery of One Boeing 737 MAX 8 to Arajet
Griffin Global Asset Management announced the delivery of one Boeing 737 MAX 8 to Arajet, an ultra-low cost airline based in the Dominican Republic. The aircraft is the first of five from Griffin’s orderbook scheduled to deliver to Arajet in 2022. Griffin Global Asset Management Senior Vice President of Marketing Eric Hild said “Griffin is pleased to deliver this first of five new 737-8 aircraft on long-term lease to Arajet, the Dominican Republic’s new national ULCC carrier. It is a privilege to be part of the launch of Arajet who will benefit from the most modern, fuel-efficient technology to advance the airline’s overall growth and route expansion objectives.”
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A321neo to Aegean Airlines
SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Airbus A321neo aircraft (MSN 10704) equipped with two (2) PW1133G-JM engines to Aegean Airlines. This aircraft is SMBC’s first delivery from this sale and leaseback transaction with Aegean, with the second aircraft due to deliver in Q2 of this year.
