Bii announces new sourcing relationship with Rostrum Leasing for CFM56 -3 engine parts
Bii.aero announced 28 May that it has teamed with Dublin based aircraft and engine leasing firm Rostrum Leasing to market a suite of engine piece parts resulting from the phased tear-down programme of selected B737-300 Classics and CFM56 spare engines formerly operated by Southwest Airlines.
CDB Aviation Expands Americas Commercial Team
CDB Leasing announced 30 May the latest addition to its global commercial team; Luís da Silva has been appointed as Head of Commercial, the Americas. Luís will be based in the company’s Americas headquarters located in Fort Lauderdale, and will report to Patrick C. Hannigan.

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 28 May the delivery of one ATR 72-600, MSN 1450, to Far Eastern Air Transport Corporation (FAT) on lease.
Stratos, the global aircraft investment specialist, closes inaugural ABS, first securitisation featuring JOL equity
Stratos announced the closure of inaugural ABS featuring securitized debt, with equity sourced from the Japanese Operating Lease market. The transaction was arranged on behalf of JP Lease (Japan), the leading JOL arranger. JP Lease sponsored the deal and underwrote the equity to sell to its diversified pool of Japanese corporate clients. The fifteen securitized aircraft were acquired with leases attached. Gary Fitzgerald, CEO of Stratos, said “This is the most complex and innovative deal Stratos has arranged, all of us at Stratos are proud to have delivered this innovative financing solution to JP Lease so they can continue to expand product lines to their extensive investor base in Japan. We are grateful for the cooperation and support we have received from our airline clients, sellers and legal counsels to facilitate the simultaneous novation and transition of all fifteen aircraft on ABS closing.”
