Aero Capital Solutions Continues Freighter Growth With 13 Additional 737 Conversions
Aero Capital Solutions (ACS) announced the continued growth of its cargo aircraft fleet with a commitment to convert an additional 13 Boeing 737-800SF to freighters. The conversions will be carried out in conjunction with an STC (supplemental type certificate) provided by Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI), and add to the 21 aircraft that ACS has already committed for conversion. The first of the additional Boeing 737-800SF aircraft will commence modification performed by Commercial Jet Inc. based in Miami, Florida in March 2023. The remaining 12 aircraft modifications will be distributed between Commercial Jet, KF Aerospace and HAECO Xiamen with the final aircraft commencing in December 2023.

Engine Lease Finance Corporation announces the purchase and lease back of twenty-five Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines
Engine Lease Finance Corporation announced the purchase and lease back of twenty-five Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines for both the Airbus A220 and Airbus A320neo aircraft families. Included in the transaction is also an EngineWise® long-term maintenance agreement, in which the engines will enjoy the benefit of Pratt & Whitney’s global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network. The transaction is valued at $400 million. President & CEO of ELF Tom Barrett said “We are delighted to partner with Pratt & Whitney on this deal which is very important to ELF. Pratt is a leading aircraft engine manufacturer and, as the market leading independent engine lessor, we will continue to invest in their fuel-efficient engine offerings for many years to come.”
Macquarie AirFinance to lease five new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Air Senegal
Macquarie AirFinance has agreed to lease five new Airbus A220-300 aircraft to Air Senegal with deliveries commencing in 2023. The five aircraft form part of the lessor’s order book of 29 A220-300s. Air Senegal will use the A220-300s to link Dakar to regional and European destinations. Macquarie AirFinance CEO John Willingham said “We are delighted to conclude this agreement with Air Senegal, which we see as the start of a successful long-term partnership together. The airline’s plans for the aircraft demonstrate its exceptional passenger appeal, efficiency and versatility. We look forward to flying on the A220-300 when it enters service in Senegal and experiencing the airline’s famous Teranga hospitality.”
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A320neo to Volaris
SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Airbus A320neo aircraft (MSN 10069) to Volaris. This is the second of three units delivering to Volaris over the coming months.
