AerCap Delivers First of Two New Airbus A350 Aircraft to Air Mauritius AerCap announced 20 October the delivery of a new Airbus A350-900 to Air Mauritius, the first of two new A350 aircraft deliveries on long-term lease from AerCap’s order book with Airbus. A second A350-900 aircraft is scheduled for delivery to Air Mauritius in November 2017. AerCap has one of the largest Airbus A350-900 portfolios with a total of twenty-six owned and on order, delivering through 2019. Avolon delivers one Airbus A320-200Neo to Garuda Avolon announced 24 October the delivery of one Airbus A320-200Neo aircraft to Garuda (Citilink). This is the 17 Avolon aircraft on lease to Garuda. NAC delivered one Embraer E190, MSN 19000097, to Aeroméxico Connect on lease Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 25 October that it has delivered one Embraer E190, MSN 19000097, to Aeroméxico Connect on lease. Following the opening session, the emphasis will shift to a lively debate around ‘Consolidation/Mergers within Aviation Leasing’. With more than $140bn of aircraft assets managed from Ireland, the country continues to develop its position as the global hub for aircraft finance and leasing, and almost all of the world’s leading lessors have established strong operational bases. It is anticipated that invited delegates from the Irish aviation leasing community will challenge panellist opinion provided by: Julian Rouchy Kelly, Chief Operating Officer at Accipiter Holdings DAC; Karl Griffin, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Aerospace; and John McMahon, Aviation Leasing & Finance Advisor / Non-Executive Director / Lecturer.
