Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement of Three New Airbus A350-900 and One New Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft with Air Caraïbes and FrenchBee Air Lease Corporation announced 16 June long-term lease agreements with Air Caraïbes and FrenchBee, part of Groupe Dubreuil Aéro, for three new Airbus A350-900 and one new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, on lease from ALC’s order book with Airbus. The three A350-900s are scheduled to deliver to Air Caraïbes starting in 2019 through 2020, the first of which delivered to the airline on June 12, 2019 on lease to FrenchBee. The A350-1000 is scheduled to deliver to the airlines in Fall 2021. Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement of New Boeing 787-10 Aircraft with KLM Air Lease Corporation announced 16 June a long-term lease placement for one new Boeing 787-10 aircraft with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, scheduled for delivery in Spring 2021. The 787-10 aircraft will deliver from ALC’s order book with Boeing. Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement of New Boeing 787-9 Aircraft with LOT Polish Airlines Air Lease Corporation announced 16 June a long-term lease agreement for one new Boeing 787-9 aircraft with LOT Polish Airlines. This 787-9 is scheduled to deliver to the airline in Spring 2020 from ALC’s order book with Boeing. Air Lease Corporation Announces Lease Placement of Ten Airbus A321-200neo Aircraft with Sichuan Airlines Air Lease Corporation announced 16 June the long-term lease agreements for ten Airbus A321-200neo aircraft with Sichuan Airlines. Scheduled to deliver from ALC’s order book with Airbus starting in 2021 through 2022, the ten A321-200neos join one A350-900, one A321-200neo, one A320-200neo, four A321-200s, one A330-300 and one A330-200 aircraft currently on lease to the airline from ALC. Air Lease Corporation to order 100 aircraft, including the new A321XLR Air Lease Corporation has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for 100 Airbus aircraft, including for the first time 50 A220-300s and 27 A321XLRs. The agreement also includes an incremental order for an additional 23 A321neos. This latest order takes ALC’s cumulative orders to 387 Airbus aircraft, making it Airbus’ third largest lessor customer. Air Italy adds 10 new destinations through agreement with Alaska Airlines Air Italy has added 10 new destinations to its network through the signing of a Special Prorate Agreement with Alaska Airlines. The new interline agreement start the airlines’ partnership with 10 destinations across the US and Mexico: Anchorage, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Palm Springs, San Diego, Seattle, San Jose (CA) and Guadalajara (Mexico). Boeing to Acquire EnCore Group, an Aerospace Interiors Supplier Boeing announced 14 June that it has entered into an agreement to acquire California-based EnCore Group, an aerospace interiors company that designs, certifies and produces airplane galleys and seats for airlines and also supplies products and components to Boeing. Chorus Aviation announces a sale-leaseback transaction with IndiGo, for six new ATR72-600 aircraft Chorus Aviation announced today that Chorus Aviation Capital has entered into agreements to deliver six new ATR72-600 aircraft to IndiGo of India under a sale and leaseback transaction. Deliveries are anticipated in the second and third quarters of 2019. GECAS Brings First A320neo to Colorful Guizhou Airlines GECAS and Colorful Guizhou Airlines have agreed to a lease agreement for four A320neo aircraft from the lessor’s orderbook, with deliveries beginning in late 2019 and continuing into 2020. Pratt & Whitney Launches Connected Factory Initiative Pratt & Whitney announced 17^TH June it has launched a Connected Factory pilot project. This is a three year pilot program that will take place in phases in facilities around the world, with Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions in Singapore as the launch host.
