Airbus Helicopters Touts 50 Years of North American Operations Airbus Helicopters has been known by that name for only a little more than five years, the company has been serving the North American market for half a century, which is why it held events throughout the latter half of 2019 in recognition of its golden anniversary. The company supports more than 275,000 jobs in 40 U.S. states, with primary manufacturing facilities in Columbus, Missouri, and Grand Prairie, Texas, and 17,000 jobs throughout Canada with a composites manufacturing plant in Fort Erie, Ontario, and a logistical-support and parts warehouse in Richmond, British Columbia. Flair Airline looks to grow its fleet Flair has immediate plans to expand its services both in frequency and reach with the remaining critical step being the fleet renewal and expansion plan. To meet the rapidly growing demand for Flair's low fares, the airline is seeking expressions of interest from lessors with available Boeing 737 aircraft for delivery in early 2020. GA Telesis Announces the Purchase of Two A319 Aircraft on Lease with Rossiya Airlines GA Telesis announced the closing on the purchase of two Airbus A319 aircraft subject to lease with Rossiya Airlines. GAT completed the acquisition of two Airbus A319 aircraft, which are subject to multi-year leases with Rossiya Airlines. National Airlines begins 2020 with the introduction of A330-200 into its fleet National Airlines announced the Airbus 330-200 as its newest addition to its fleet. This aircraft has been delivered with its N819CA registration in National's striking livery. The Airbus 330-200 commences its international charter missions in May of this year. The current two-class configuration of 288 seats provides a generous seat pitch while providing onboard entertainment to all seats. National Airlines will be adding an additional A330 by June of this this year and additional aircraft in the future. Chris Alf, Chairman of National Air Cargo Holdings said, "National has plans to introduce two additional Airbus 330 family aircraft into its fleet by early 2021. We at National take pride in delivering personalized service offerings to our customers. Fleet improvements are continuously evaluated, and the demand for the passenger business drove us to the decision to acquire the Airbus 330-200, based on its proven history of providing the highest level of safety and performance." StandardAero Acquires Turbine Repair Service (TRS) Global Services’ subsidiary, TRS Ireland, to Expand Component Repair Capabilities StandardAero has acquired TRS Global Services subsidiary, TRS Ireland, a highly specialized provider of component repair and manufacturing processes for a large range of industrial, aeroderivative and aircraft gas turbines. The acquisition will continue to expand StandardAero’s Components, Helicopters & Accessories (CH&A) division and its worldwide portfolio of MRO and component repair services. Vx Capital Partners orders 3 additional B737-400SFs Aeronautical Engineers has signed a contract to provide VX Capital Partners with three additional B737-400SF freighter conversions. The first aircraft providing an 11 pallet capacity will commence modification in March 2020, the third in August. All modification requirements for touch labor and maintenance will be performed at Kelowna, Canada-based KF Aerospace, an authorized AEI conversion center.
