AEI receives order from Aircastle for four AEI Boeing 737-800SF freighter conversions Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) announced Aircastle Limited (Aircastle) has placed an order for four AEI Boeing 737-800SF freighter conversions. This is the first order received by AEI from Aircastle for the B737-800SF freighter conversion. All four aircraft will be modified by the authorized AEI Conversion Center, KF Aerospace based in Canada. The first aircraft will commence modification in July 2022, and the final aircraft will commence modification in March 2023. Boeing to Open Three New Freighter Conversion Lines; Takes Order for Eleven 737-800BCF Boeing announced plans to add three conversion lines for the market-leading 737-800BCF across North America and Europe. In 2022, the company will open one conversion line at Boeing's London Gatwick Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility, its state-of-the-art hangar in the United Kingdom; and two conversion lines in 2023 at KF Aerospace MRO in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. "Building a diverse and global network of conversion facilities is critical to supporting our customers' growth and meeting regional demand," said Jens Steinhagen, director of Boeing Converted Freighters. "KF Aerospace and our Boeing teammates at London Gatwick have the infrastructure, capabilities and expertise required to deliver market-leading Boeing Converted Freighters to our customers." Elevate Capital Partners Completes Sale-and-Leaseback with Porter Airlines for 4x Embraer E195-E2 Air Elevate Capital Partners announced the closing of a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Porter Aircraft Leasing Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Porter Aviation Holdings Inc for four (4) Embraer  E195-E2 aircraft. These next generation technology aircraft will be delivered in 2022 and 2023. Frontier Airlines Orders 91 Additional A321neo Aircraft, Tripling Size by 2029 Frontier Airlines announced a major fleet expansion with an order for 91 additional A321neo aircraft from leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus as part of a larger joint aircraft order across the Indigo Partners portfolio. The new aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2023 and 2029. They are in addition to Frontier’s existing orderbook of 143 aircraft to be delivered between 2022 and 2028, bringing the airline’s total aircraft on order to 234. By the end of 2029, Frontier’s total fleet size is expected to include 272 aircraft. IAI to Convert Ten B737-800 Passenger Aircraft to Cargo Configuration for World Star Aviation Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) Aviation Group signed an agreement with World Star Aviation to convert ten B737-800 passenger aircraft to cargo configuration, with an option for an additional ten conversions. The cargo conversions will take place at IAI's partially-owned subsidiary, Bedek Lingyun (Yichang) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd  in Yichang, Hubei Province, China, and in other locations.
