Aerovista secures two A321-200PCF conversions with 321 Precision Conversions 321 Precision Conversions announced Aerovista has secured two A321-200PCF conversions. The two aircraft, MSNs 1451 and 1503 are scheduled to induct during Q1 and Q2 2023. American Airlines and Aer Lingus Launch New Codeshare Agreement, Offering Customers More Choices for Travel Between the U.S. and Europe American will place its code on Aer Lingus flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and Dublin (DUB). Customers can also book codeshare flights on Aer Lingus from DUB to Amsterdam (AMS); Birmingham, UK (BHX); London Gatwick (LGW) and Manchester, UK (MAN); and from LHR to Belfast City, Northern Ireland (BHD); Cork, Ireland (ORK) and Shannon, Ireland (SNN). American’s vice president of Alliances Anmol Bhargava stated “We are excited to extend our relationship with our newest joint business partner, Aer Lingus, with this codeshare agreement. Through our trans-Atlantic joint business, customers have more choices to key destinations in Europe and now, Ireland.” Cargojet Renews Air Cargo Services Agreements with Major Domestic Customers Cargojet announced the early renewal and extension of the Air Cargo Services Agreement with two major domestic customers. The agreements will run for a three-year term and contain two (2) one year renewal options. The original agreements were due for renewal in 2021 and in July 2022. This is another example of customers continuing to secure long-term capacity on Cargojet’s air cargo network considering structural shifts in the nature of supply chains which are leading to significant growth in demand for time-sensitive air cargo services across Canada. The carrier will continue to be the exclusive provider of the overnight air cargo services in Canada for these customers. The total revenues represented by these contract renewals are estimated over $150 million during the term of the new agreements, including the extension options. GA Telesis’ Flight Solutions Group and Honeywell Aerospace Announce Consignment Partnership for Aircraft Components GA Telesis and Honeywell Aerospace have entered into a consignment partnership to provide global airlines with increased component availability and better access to parts through online portals. In addition, this new program will ensure that airlines will receive components repaired and certified with genuine OEM parts. This new partnership will be managed by GAT’s Flight Solutions Group and bolstered by the Honeywell Aerospace Trading division of Honeywell Aerospace, through which the two will create a new evolution of consignment management. The U.S. Department of Transportation Approves Norse Atlantic Airways’ Application for Transatlantic Flights The United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) approved Norse Atlantic Airways’ application for the operation of flights between Norway/The European Union and the United States. In December 2021, Norse received its Air Operator's Certificate by Norway’s Civil Aviation Authority and took delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The carrier plans to start commercial operation in spring 2022 with the first flights connecting Oslo to select cities in the U.S. Norse CEO and Founder Bjørn Tore Larsen stated “We are thrilled by the Department of Transportation’s approval of our affordable transatlantic flights. This significant milestone brings Norse one step closer to launching affordable and more environmentally friendly service to customers traveling between Europe and the United States. We appreciate the USDOT's constructive and prompt approach, and we look forward to working with them in the months ahead.” Voyageur Aviation unveils new EXCL Program with launch customer Sabena technics Voyageur Aviation announced it has entered into an agreement to provide on-site inventory, component repair and overhaul, and detailed service level support for the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Dash 8-400 to Sabena technics through Voyageur’s Exchange Component and Leasing Subscription (‘EXCL’) program.
