Aviation Capital Group Announces Delivery of New Airbus A320neo Aircraft to Viva Air Aviation Capital Group announced the delivery of one new Airbus A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to Viva Air. This is Viva Air’s first A320neo and the first aircraft to deliver as part of a multi-aircraft transaction between ACG and the airline. North American Aerospace Industries Announces New Development on Its Kinston, NC Aircraft Recycling Facility North American Aerospace Industries (NAAI) announced that its affiliate Aircraft Solutions Middle East has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Aircraft Support Industries for the development of three new aircraft recycling facilities including the NAAI facility planned at the Global TransPark in Kinston, North Carolina, USA TAP Air Portugal Returns to San Francisco and Chicago TAP Air Portugal is returning to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and San Francisco International (SFO) with effect from 2/3 October . To begin, each market will start with one round-trip weekly. TAP’s first flight to Chicago arrives Friday 2nd October, and returns to Portugal on Sunday 4th October .In San Francisco, TAP’s first arrival is scheduled for Saturday 3rd October, while the first departure will take place on Monday 5th October. Ukraine International Airlines (UIA)  to resume non-stop flights between New York & Kyiv in Spring 2021 Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has updated its plans and schedule for non-stop wide-body flights between Kyiv & New York. UIA is planning to resume flights as the Spring season takes hold in both cities. Plans include flights in time for the Easter holidays in 2021. United Airlines Plans to Increase Service on More than 40 Caribbean and Mexican Beach Routes in November United Airlines announced it plans to resume service on nearly 30 international routes in November, including flights to cities in Asia, Europe, and South America. Additionally, the airline continues to strategically rebuild its domestic and international network by offering customers service to popular leisure destinations in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Central America and Mexico. Even with these additions, United's November schedule is still less than half of what it was this time last year. The airline plans to fly 44% of its schedule in November compared to 2019, and a 4-point increase compared to October 2020. United Airlines Resumes Nonstop Service Between San Francisco and Shanghai United Airlines announced it will start nonstop service to China four-times weekly between San Francisco and Shanghai's Pudong International Airport. Beginning Oct. 21, 2020, United will operate four weekly nonstop flights with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from San Francisco to Shanghai on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
