MONTE and Natilus Announce Leasing Partnership for new technology aircraft

MONTE Aircraft Leasing (MONTE) announced a strategic partnership with Natilus, a U.S. aerospace company developing next-generation blended-wing-body aircraft. MONTE will provide leasing and financing options for the Kona aircraft to Natilus customers. MONTE Chief Operating Officer Timothy Eyre, said "The Kona is a unique aircraft, which has been developed specifically to optimize air cargo operations. We are delighted to partner with the Natilus team to support the Kona aircraft and the regional cargo market. The opportunity to integrate hydrogen electric propulsion systems into the aircraft is strongly aligned with our strategy to decarbonize regional aviation.”

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced it has executed a sale agreement for three CF34-10E engines with an undisclosed buyer.

Novus Aviation Capital announced further developed its management team with the appointment of Aaron Henry as Vice President – Technical  based at its Dublin office. Novus Aviation Capital Chief Commercial Officer, Mamoun Kuzbari said “We are delighted to welcome Aaron to the Novus team as our new Head of Technical. Aaron’s extensive experience and proven track record in technical management makes him a perfect fit for leading our technical team.”
 

SMBC Aero Engine Lease (SAEL) closes first sale and leaseback transaction with Breeze Airways

SMBC Aero Engine Lease (SAEL) announced it has closed its first sale and leaseback transaction with Breeze Airways for two PW1524G engines, one in December 2023 and the other in March 2024. SMBC Aero Engine Lease (SAEL) MD & CEO Roger Welaratne, said “We are very pleased to count Breeze as one of our customers. We are looking forward to a long collaboration and to doing many more deals together. We are excited to be part of Breeze’s growth venture and we are also very happy to have added a new engine type – PW1500 – to our portfolio.”
