Eve Air Mobility Announces Loan to Support eVTOL Development
Eve Air Mobility announced a $50M loan from Citibank N.A. The funding, which will strengthen Eve's balance sheet, will support the company’s aircraft research and development program. The company is working to prepare the aircraft for a comprehensive test campaign. Concurrently, Eve continues to develop a comprehensive portfolio of agnostic services and operations solutions, including Vector, a unique Urban Air Traffic Management software to optimize and scale Advanced Air Mobility operations worldwide. Eve Air Mobility CFO Eduardo Couto, stated “ “Eve continues to attract new investors, a sign of the continued confidence in our strategic plan, strong customer interest in our eVTOL aircraft, services, operations solutions and our Vector urban air traffic management software solution. The bank loan, along with existing cash and credit lines, ensures that Eve remains well capitalized with a comfortable balance sheet and with one of the highest cash runways in the advanced air mobility (AAM)industry. We are continuing to advance in the development and manufacturing of our eVTOL.”
GA Telesis to acquire 23 Airbus A320ceo family aircraft from Spirit Airlines
GA Telesis announced it has signed a definitive purchase agreement and secured the necessary corporate approvals to acquire 23 used Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft from Spirit Airlines, Inc. The aircraft, powered by V2527-A5 and V2533-A5 Select-OneTM engines. GA Telesis stated the strategic acquisition significantly bolsters GA Telesis' fleet portfolio, enhancing its ability to meet increasing global demand for narrow-body aircraft. GA Telesis LIFT Group President Marc Cho, stated "We are thrilled to announce this significant acquisition, which adds a large number of highly sought-after Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft to our portfolio. The A320ceo family of aircraft is renowned for its efficiency, performance, and reliability, making it an attractive option for airlines across the world. We are confident these aircraft will provide significant value to our customers as they continue their operations."

SmartLynx Airlines announced it has received the Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC) granted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the United States of America (USA). The certification allows the airline to begin operations to, from, and within the United States. SmartLynx will now be able to support airlines that operate cross-continental full charter and ACMI flights to and from United States of America (USA). SmartLynx Airlines CEO Edvinas Demenius, said "Air operation Certificates are part of our infrastructure. It is crucial for an airline, especially ACMI, to have access to different regions. The USA is the biggest and one of the most regulated aviation markets in the world and being able to provide our services there brings a lot of value to the airline and boosts our competitiveness. Approximately a third of our fleet operates under Latvian AOC. Therefore, this step allows us to expand our operations and gives more flexibility."
