SMBC Aviation Capital delivers two A320Neo’s to Air India

Philip Hansom joins Dynam Aviation

Dynam Aviation Ireland Limited has announced the appointment of Philip Hansom as Vice President, Commercial based in their Dublin office. Dynam Aviation Chief Executive Officer Katsuhiko Ando said “I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Phil as he joins the team. Phil will play a pivotal role at Dynam as we continue to grow and expand our commercial activities.”
 

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) establishes Materials Unit

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced the formation of new NAC Materials. The primary focus of the new operation is the sourcing, leasing and trading of larger ticket airframe and engine components for ATR turboprop aircraft, such as propellers, avionics and landing gear. The unit will manage and optimize NAC’s remaining CF34 engine inventory as the firm phases out its E190/195 leased fleet. Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) EVP-Fleet Operations said “NAC Materials will help minimize lease transition cash costs for us, support our customer base and provide ancillary leasing income and trading gains. We’ve done internal inventory management for many years. Since 2022, we have externally traded out many key components and opportunistically built up a leased/green time engine book with an aggregate value of about $80M. Our current staff, supplier/warehouse network and quality control/IT systems can readily support the effort.”
 

SMBC Aviation Capital delivers two A320Neo’s to Air India

SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of two Airbus A320Neo aircraft to Air India on 6th and 13th February respectively , as part of of six A320-251N aircraft contracted for delivery to Air India from SMBC Aviation Capital’s direct order with Airbus.
