Spirit Airlines Announces Leadership Changes

Cebu Pacific Leases Airbus A321neo from Aviation Capital Group (ACG)

Aviation Capital Group (ACG)announced the delivery of one Airbus A321neo on long-term lease to Cebu Pacific. The aircraft delivered to the airline as part of a sale-leaseback transaction between ACG and Cebu Pacific.  Aviation Capital Group (ACG) Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing Ryan Barret, said “We are thrilled to finalize this sale-leaseback transaction with Cebu Pacific and contributing to Cebu’s continued success in the dynamic Asia-Pacific market, while also nurturing future growth in our partnership.”

 

Spirit AeroSystems Announces Acquisition by Boeing

Spirit AeroSystems announced it has entered into a definitive merger agreement Boeing in $8.3 Billion Transaction. Spirit AeroSystems President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick M. Shanahan, said "After carefully evaluating Boeing's offer to combine, we are confident this transaction is in the best interest of Spirit and its shareholders, and will benefit Spirit's other stakeholders. Bringing Spirit and Boeing together will enable greater integration of both companies' manufacturing and engineering capabilities, including safety and quality systems."

 

Spirit Airlines Announces Leadership Changes

Spirit Airlines announced executive leadership changes including the appointment of Fred Cromer as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective 8 July. Dana Shapir Alviene has been appointed Senior Vice President of Inflight and Airport Experience from 29 July. Tomas Ranaldi has been promoted to Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, with immediate effect.
