Atlas Air Worldwide Announces Second 747-400F Aircraft With Asiana Cargo Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc announced 5 September that its Atlas Air, Inc. unit has entered into an agreement to add a second Boeing 747-400 Freighter for Asiana Cargo. The aircraft will be operated by Atlas Air and be flown on key global routes across the fast- growing transpacific market, connecting South Korea with several destinations in the United States. The aircraft is an incremental unit in Atlas Air’s fleet in response to customer demand and will enter into service this month. Delta, Monroe Energy exploring options for next phase of Trainer Refinery operations Delta Air Lines and its Monroe Energy subsidiary are working with Barclays and Jeffries to explore opportunities to form a joint venture with the Trainer refinery to further enhance the benefits that the refinery provides to our fuel operation. Under any potential joint venture Delta expects to retain an ownership stake in the Trainer Refinery and ensure that it maintains current levels of jet fuel production, while a strategic partner would focus on gasoline, diesel fuel and other products made in the refining process. Gulfstream, Nordam Reach Deal on PW800 Nacelles Nordam has reached an agreement to sell its interest in a nacelle program to Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. (GAC) in a move that will pave the way for immediate resumption of nacelle production for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW800 engines that power the Gulfstream G500 and G600 and ultimately allow Nordam to file a plan to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to court documents filed. The Boston-based company intends to have the S-512 flying by early 2021, with customer deliveries starting in 2023. Sun Country Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service to Belize, St. Kitts & Nevis Sun Country Airlines announced 6 September the addition of two new destinations – Belize and St. Kitts & Nevis – to its growing network. Sun Country will offer the first ever seasonal nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Belize, and between Minneapolis/St. Paul and St. Kitts and Nevis.
