Uzbekistan Airways leases two A321Neo’s from SMBC Aviation Capital
Aercap leases Airbus A320neo family aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines
AerCap Holdings announced that it has signed lease agreements with Azerbaijan Airlines for six new Airbus aircraft, including three A320neos and three A321neos for delivery in 2026. AerCap Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Anderson said "AerCap is delighted to welcome AZAL as a new customer and support them with their ongoing fleet and network expansion. The A320neo and A321neo are among the most desirable and in-demand aircraft in the world and will not only enable AZAL to serve more customers across more destinations but will also support their commitment to modernizing their fleet with the most technologically advanced fuel-efficient aircraft on the market. We wish the AZAL team every success with their expansion plans and look forward to a long and successful partnership."
AviaAM Leasing acquires Airbus A320-200
AviaAM Leasing announced the acquisition of an Airbus A320-200 aircraft (MSN 5089). The newly acquired aircraft, was secured through a transaction with TrueAero Asset Management Ireland.
Avolon Leases Airbus A330neos To T’way Air
Avolon announced it has agreed to lease five Airbus A330neos to T’way Air. The aircraft will be delivered in 2026 and will support T’way’s international route network expansion. T’way becomes the 12th A330neo operator in Avolon’s customer base. Avolon President and Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Geaney stated “The T’way Air team is rapidly expanding the airline’s operations and we are delighted to have them as a new A330neo customer. The A330neo provides an ideal widebody solution to support their growth strategy. With the largest lessor committed fleet of 447 aircraft, we are well-placed to support our global customers as they look for capacity to meet the continuing high levels of travel demand.”
Uzbekistan Airways leases two A321Neo’s from SMBC Aviation Capital
SMBC Aviation Capital announced that it has signed a lease agreement with Uzbekistan Airways for two Airbus A321 NEO aircraft, for delivery in 2026, becoming a new aircraft type in Uzbekistan Airways fleet. The A321neo’s will enable the carrier to expand its routes into Europe and South East Asia. SMBC Aviation Capital Head of Airline Marketing, Conor Stafford said “We are delighted to welcome Uzbekistan Airways as a new customer to SMBC Aviation Capital and we look forward to many successful years of partnership together. These new tech, fuel efficient A321 NEO aircraft will support Uzbekistan Airways as they expand their route network through South East Asia and Europe.”
