Alan Webber

Chief Technical Officer - Services & Head of Powerplant

Alan joined Acumen in 2016 and, as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), he is well placed, with more than 30 year’s experience in technical management, to direct and successfully manage Acumen’s array of technical services through the support of his highly motivated, skilled and creative team.

Immediately prior to Alan’s appointment as CTO he took up the position of Senior Vice President of Acumen’s EMpower Engine Services division, where he proved to be instrumental in shaping its structure and focus.

Prior to joining Acumen, Alan held the positions of Group Engineering Director, Managing Director and has previously worked for Royal Aero GmbH and in techno-commercial roles with Rolls Royce, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Volvo Aero.

Alan holds BSc.(Hons) and  BA.(Hons) degrees as well as a Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate.
